Who We Are

One Stop Shop Cville is the brain child of Martize Tolbert (UVa Edge '21) who realized there was a need for folks reentering into society from incarceration. Martize is on the steering committee of the Albemarle-Charlottesville Reentry Council and the advisory board of Network2Work and UVA’s Pipelines and Pathways. Through Redemption Mentoring Services, he mentors at-risk kids in Charlottesville and surrounding counties, and works closely with Readykids RealDads program. In 2020, he co-founded a non-profit organization called Peace in the Streets, whose mission is to provide Charlottesville’s Black community with new tools and methods to constructively resolve conflicts without involving law enforcement.
